When youth are being alerted that they are a close contact, please support them with the right information- to reduce Anxiety.
Please encourage youth to let their family, teaching staff, work colleagues, sport contact and close contacts know ASAP. IF they have symptoms of a sore thought, cough, fever or unwell, be in contact with your family Dr.
If you are a close contact you need to isolate for up to 7 days, if you have Covid in your home, you need to isolate for up to 10 days and return to school, work, sport once you have a negative Covid result.

As you will be aware, the recently issued COVID-19 Public Health & Disability Response Mandatory Vaccinations Order 2021 includes coverage of education workers and those working in the education & youth sector, and therefore scope of the Covid-19 Mandatory Order includes any work carried out by MYT employees. This mandate is effective from 11:59pm Monday 15 November 2021 – where any education worker, who falls under these roles must receive their first dose of the vaccine.
Therefore, we confirm that we now require that all MYT employees & Contractors who may be performing work at our premises at Myspace at 18 Kinross Street Blenheim, or support any of our programs through Marlborough Youth Trust need to be vaccinated.
Myspace rentals, if you want to hire myspace, please be in touch with us regarding your time and numbers of when you would like rent Myspace. We are following the Covid traffic light requirements for Myspace and programs.
For gatherings at Myspace can only host to 25 people with 1metre distancing, in each space, face masks are to be worn, signing in, scanning in and sanitizing hands will be required-and doors are open as much as possible
