Jo has an important role to be active in supporting  Marlborough Youth Trust growth and development.  Jo's role is also to oversee My Space.

CAMERON ROWE - Resource Guru

Cameron helps in the trust with general support form putting up our posters for events through to getting gear together for events.  Cameron would like to be a gear man for a rugby team one day - His favourite Rugby team is The Crusaders.

MAXINE SWEENEY - Seddon Youth Worker

Maxine has stepped into a youth workers role within Seddon Youth Community and built relationships with youth to connect them to opportunities an fun.  Maxine is currently doing her Careerforce level 4 in Youth Work. Maxine's kindness and sense of humour builds rapport with everyone she meets.

Aaron has been involved with the YES program for 3 years and brings wonderful skills and strengths that he shares with the Youth in Emergency Services program.  Aaron has been actively involved in Picton networking and hearing from the Youth Community, and what they would like to see happen in Picton.

JONATHAN CASH - Friend of the Trust 

Jonathan is a past Youth Representative. Currently studying in Auckland, he has volunteered at many events over the years and continues to help when he returns home to Marlborough.

LYNNE AGNEW - Friend of the Trust

Lyne is a volunteer to the Trust.  She attends meetings regularly and also helps out at events. 
Lyne is a Career Advisor who can help youth with Career advice...you can find her at Careers Marlborough.

      RUSSELL SMITH -  Chairperson
​

Russell is the Chairperson of the Marlborough Youth Trust.  He is the Blenheim Community Constable and has been a member of the NZ Police for over 30 years.  He is, and has been, a representative on over a dozen steering groups in Marlborough, including Safe and Sound at the Top which succeeded in obtaining the World Health Organisation Safe Community Accreditation for Marlborough.  Russell has a focus on community safety and a passion for working towards establishing holistic processes that link Marlborough youth providers and youth into youth development initiatives.

       AMAROA KATU - Secretary

Amaroa has worked in health for over 10 years,and is the Community Health Services Manager for the Marlborough Primary Health. Amaroa looks at initiatives to improve access to health services for youth and to identify and reduce any gaps to services.

           HELEN McLEAN - Trustee

Helen is a part time Health Promoter at Public Health Service, with a focus on young people and positive sexuality.   She provides information and resources to those who work with young people.  Helen initiated the Marlborough Colleges Peer Support program in 1996, where students learn health & service knowledge which they can pass onto their peers.​ Helen is a long time supporter of Rainbow Youth, and is keen to see that Marlborough supports all young people to reach their potential.  Helen & her husband enjoy country life and have 2 young people of their own.

ANDREA CUNNIFFE - Treasurer

Andrea took on the role of MYT Treasurer in July 2016. Also the Treasurer for NZ Blue Light, she has a great interest in youth and the community, and is a fantastic asset to the MYT team!!
